|
|
| Anyone know whats the trd s/c weight compared to a turbo stage 0 ZPI kit, I wanted to see which one weight the most, and would less weight beat more horsepower that the turbo stage 0 ZPI kit puts out? For instance if the s/c had 300 whp and the turbo kit had 300 whp. Thanx! 8) |

the shipping weight of our kit is ~50 that's with packing materials and boxes, etc..
the supercharger is a heavy biscuit. I'd almost guarantee it weighs more. I may be able to weigh one.. since we have a supercharger on the shelf.. took it off, it was too slow. replaced by turbo kit. :)
Edit: Cute swear filter.. biscuit... that's amusing. |

| I'm interested in the stage 0 kit from ZPI but why doesn't it come with an intercooler? |

| At that low of boost you really dont need the intercooler, but if you want one you can always add one, i have an intercooler if you want to buy one and you could ge the piping custom made :) or you could just buy the intercooler kit from ZPI |

At 6psi, you can get away without an intercooler. The stage 0 leaves you with the option to customize your setup however you want. We've got people with methanol injection, ScionDad has the Air/Water intercooler, and people who've added their own FMIC to their specifications.
There are a number of options available. |

| The supercharger box weighed in at 71lbs and my Turbonetics box weighed in at 115lbs. So the turbo kit is heavier. I had to lift my coilovers after I installed my turbo kit because my tires started rubbing my inner wheelwells because of the weight difference :) |

| Yes, but I think the Supercharger kit includes a new oil pan right? so the weight of the oil pan would not be added since it only replaces the oil pan already on the car. |
