| Hrm Fujita makes intakes right? Well back in Sept/Oct I had the chance to lend them my car for an intake R&D, but I didn't do it. I can only assume it will hit stores before summer since that is when Tanabe's muffler is set to drop and a few other parts as well. |

| i made my own short ram intake. Super easy install. Just put a good filter like a K&N cone filter that u find on other cold air setups and put it where the stock box is. Doesn't take anymore than 20 minutes and like $30 or less. |

i know the corolla and the xD both have the 1.8 engine, but from what i heard the one in the xD is the first dual VVTi engine released in the us.
You could always try soemthing like this, its cheap enough so if you mess it up, you can trash it. The only thing i'd be worried about is the placement of the MAF
*edit*
I put up a link to an old intake.... heres the one for 07

I didn't do it because they would have had my car for 5 days, basically a whole week. At the time I was in school and working with no transportation. ;) Don't mind that I didn't do it, but it would have been fun hehe. |

I let aFe use my vehicle for development. Here is a pic of the system. What do you guys think? I think it should be on the market in the next week or two. I noticed a 3mpg increase and some throttle response. They did a dyno but havent released the numbers. Ill fill you guys in when they give me more info.

That looks good. Are you planning on going to any shows or meets in the area? I'd like to take a look :)
I've never heard of aFe so no idea what their track record is. Do you know anything about them? |

Check out there website. www.afepower.com
They are very big in the truck/suv market and diesel market. I think they make product for TRD. I believe they make products for other scions as well. It seemed like a bigger company when I was there.
I was not planning on going to any shows but when I get a free production piece I can start a new thread on it for others. |
