Hello everybody,

Would somebody be able to recommend lowering springs for the xd?
Is it better to go with the TRD because it is specially designed for the scion or any brand would be good?
I just founded this on ebay:

TANABE DF210 LOWERING SPRINGS 2008-ON SCION xD TDF121
Any recent customer of those?

I appoligize if posted this message somewhere where not supposed to. I am new to this website.
Thanks for all info,
Darius

Well I would be thinking on what size tire you're wanting to get if you want to switch sizes. I remember reading a thread somewhere in the xD section where someone is on DFs with 18's and when they cranked the wheel for a U-Turn they rubbed the inside of the wheel well =\ Also if you have crappy roads with deep dips or potholes, don't do DFs.

I'm on NFs right now and when I get the money for 17's it will look much better. 17's with the NFs will fill the well out but the chance of rubbing will be much less. :)

heres the thing, trd products will without a doubt be OEM quality. and they will test and experiment more with their products than any other aftermarket company will because they have a much bigger R&D budget than any other aftermarket parts maker will.

and keep in mind, lower does not equal better for handling. there is actually a point when going lower will have adverse effects on the geometry of the car.
