| I talked with R.T. over at Fujita and the issue is that the actual filter for our system is way back ordered and was told that they should be in by Friday of this week. R.T. really seemed to stand behind fujitaonline.com. He stated that the owner decided to release all the orders on this due to the long delay and would re-email everyone who place an order once they are available. But it sound like something we will have to wait and see. |

Any online stores that carries Fujita products will more then likely be able to order the intake for you whether or not its on the website |

I will call them and verify that they actually have it in stock. Perhaps they have some units from the first production run ( just before they went out of stock)
Right now Fujita is out of stock on this units so if they willl go and order from Fujita and then ship to you... You are not receiving the intake any time soon.
Also, I bought mine from fujitaonline.com. For $220 shipped and they sent me a nice aluminum fujita oil cap extra with the order. So the price on this page looks kind of high to me. |

Thanks for your input. I felt the price was a bit high as well. There is someone on eBay with this product for $265 as well.
Are you satisfied with this product and do you think its worth the investment? |

I believe it's worth every penny!
Fujita is right up there with the major intake brands ( AEM, Injen....) And you can bet that when those other brands come up with an option for the xd it will be priced higher than the fujita.
The finish of the piece is top notch. Nothing to envy from more expensive systems. |

| ^^^^^ Thanks again for the input. I emailed everything4scion.com and asked for a status of this product but haven't heard anything yet. I also emailed the guy on eBay to see if they have it in stock. I am salivating over getting one of these. I might drop the extra $30 or so dollars to get this if someone can get me one before Fujita. |

| Good luck. I talked to a few companies at SEMA a few weeks ago and there are a few companies that will soon be releasing a similar kit. One was Injen (Jan 09) and the other was a subsidiary of DC and they told me they currently have one available. This I can not verify or put my name behind. I will have to dig through all my stuff and find out the name of their company. Our best and quickest bet is to keep hounding Fujita to let them know that there is a market for this and the sooner they get off their butt, they can make some money. |

The installation is easy. Mine came with detailed instructions.
BTW
The instructions will tell you to complete remove the front bumper to do the install (Which is the correct and easiest way to do it) but I save some time and got away with out removing it.
I just lift the car bit and remove the under panels behind the front drivers tire and installed the filter from under the car. |

Where did you order from? I ordered mine from:
http://www.everything4scion.com/0809...m-p-23811.html
It took forever for them to ship but unless there are some other issues I have been happy just to find one. |

Thanks for the info. I assume that once installed, it will be the same process to replace the filter? |

You may want to contact them and see if they still have them in stock. Also, the discount is $28.00 same as Fujita but then they hit you with a $28.00 shipping cost so the discount is gone. |

Yeap! One of the downsides of having a true CAI.
The Fujita comes with a dry filter. You don't need to replace it, just wash it every once in a while.
Depending on were you live, if is not too dusty, you can probably get a way with 1 or 2 washes by year. |

Looks great!
Now you just need some UD Crank pulley and perhaps some Intake Manifold and header...
And you got your self a little sleeper... |
