The Vegan Doing All The Work
Tanabe Lowered Rear
Tanabe Lowered Front
The Difference
Special thanks to The VEGAN for helping me out! He's the man! I would still be out working on it if it weren't for him.
It took us about an hour and 15 minutes to do the job. Not bad for a driveway job! Spring compressors are a must! We measured after we put them on and there is plenty of room for 20's. The springs still have to settle, but you could easily fit a 20 with a 30 series tire. I know some peeps don't like that small of a sidewall, but hey... 20's and a 2" drop looks sick!
And for all the peeps that are going to tell me, "Now all you need is rims." I know! I'm waiting til next spring. No point in ordering them now, just to take them off again in a couple of weeks when we get a foot of snow. And yes, I'll be puttin the 20's on. |

Who's the sexy bugger doing all the work?
Oh, it's me.
I noticed with Nicole's xB2, her rear sat up higher than mine.
I may have too much stereo. If there's such a thing. |

I was kinda pissed yesterday. I wanted to test them out a little bit on the cruise up the canyon, but I was unable to cause of the rain. Everytime I got into a corner hard, I'd lose traction. Today is looking like a better day for that though... :eyebrow: |

Yay!!
I'm thinking about taking Hally up to that park and taking a walk. After I get out of work and she gets here, of course.
7am comes quick when you're used to going to bed at 4am...
Oh yeah, it looks good! I need me some springs now! |

Yup! Here they are!
These are my first choice. They are the Alba Remix.
These are my second choice. The are the Alba Slice
I wanted Incubus rims originally, but they don't have a rim that I like with an offset that will work. Incubus targets bigger cars that allow for a more negative offset, such as Chargers, Magnums, 300's... |

I look back on this and have to laugh out loud at how high my car is!!!
Anyway... Box number 3 is lowered. Going to try to get someone else to lower hers...
Tire size is a respectable 235/40R18 and the wheels are from Enkei.
Still not as low as meeee!!! |

Looks good, congrats on another lowering job.
It may not be as low as you, but you're still not low enough either. :lalala: |
