hey i was wondering, when do you see about... lets say two examples of boost...
at what rpm do you normally see about 5psi and 7psi on the GT2554R? i need a reference between the 1NZFE and a stroked version of the 3SGTE *2.14L*.
no weird comments or anything, just observation of your boost at 5psi and 7psi at what rpm on the 1NZFE, thats all i need. if there is anyone pushing 10-12psi, i would love to hear at what rpm you are hitting that boost level and would prefer to hear about this area more over the 5 and 7. thankyou! |

| GT2554R, sounds like Turbo Toyotas choice... I do have the GT25R its a ball bearing turbo and its AMAZING!! Full boost as low as 2200 RPM. Last time i dynoed i had 165 TQ @ 2800 RPM. That a recipe for A LOT of wheel spin off the line. No grip what so ever when those torques get accompanied by the 170 WHP. Its a recipe for disaster and this things is fast! |

| just curious is all. the setup in question is a compound turbo setup on the 3SGTE, i'm thinking about using the GT2554R as the smaller primary and i'm looking to keep the boost between 7-12psi from at least 2,000rpm upto 4,500rpm where the bigger GT3076R kicks in, may end up being a GT4298 for the bigger one too. not sure yet, still cracking the numbers. |

no i'm not... if you look back through any posts i've done, i've been planning a 3S swap for some time now and am getting close to starting the actual build.
the reference was only to get a rough spool up point in RPM of the GT2554R on the 1NZFE block so that i can compare it to the 3SGTE in a 2.14L stroked form. the displacement difference is about 30% which would mean the GT2554R on the 3SGTE would spool about 30% earlier in the rpm range then it would on the 1NZFE.
all i need is references... not idiot remarks. |
