Thanks for asking, Ive asked before but get conflicting answers. Seems the monoroe sensatracs work well if you can find them for the echo. Most local stores do not have a listing for echos. Other stores have the new reatrac-o-tracs whiched replaced the sensatracs, however some people report a harsher ride. Then you got the sensatracs for the xb, some say they work on the xa too, but the front structs are 1/2 inch shorter.
Ive even looked up the part numbers and the local stores around me tell me no such parts.
Other say konis are best, yes they give a harsher ride even at the softest setting.
Go figure? |

Yeah, what he said. Sure the eibach pro sport springs I have are firmer, but it drives better in windy conditions, gets beter fuel economy and takes corners way better to the point the rear starts to slide out from under you with oem tires and wheel.

I have the Monroes and absolutely love them. It's a shame it took them 4 years to bring them to market tho. |

I want to do the monroes where the front is 1/2 an inch lower as my rear sits lower than my front about an inch. Funny since its just my 330 lb lard arse in the front drivers seat.
I had the part number and the vehicle they were from, but no local parts dealer could get or had them listed.
I had a chance to buy those shocks from the same guy I bought the springs from but he said they were too harsh and would be best on the rear to further reduce the on chit feeling when taking an off ramp fast. |

I want it level to let less air in under the front, guess it could help reduce bottoming out the front end?
I dont have a pepboys locally and go to advance for everything. They know me by first name and let me work on my car in the driveway. Pepboys has signs advising against working on your car in the lot. |
