Quick question……………….

Does any one have VRD fogs tinted yellow with a 4300k HID bulb in them? If anyone does can you please let me know how they look, im curious because I don’t want to buy yellow hids.

No but I did have 8000K in my VRD's. HIDs in foglights are too bright IMO along with other members on this site. HIDs used in this fashion act like lights brighter than high beams.

Thanks, I have considered this as an option as my stock fogs seem dim compared to my silverstar head lights. To my knowledge, silver star does not make an h11 bulb either, so its just oem halogen.

So, they are too bright, too yellow? Think a different color would work better?

I think that HIDs (any color) will be too bring. I advise you to pick up some yellow nokya or some other yellow bulb to use (non-HID). Yellow is the best color to cut through the fog.

My fogs are rather dim or they are just wide, wide angle flood lights. I try to aim them, but they are just useless at their present brightness/color in relationship to my silver stars. They do work for seeing the very edge of the road in fog and seeing the road line reflectors in heavy rain, but it just seems brighter ones will work.

Ive seen a few ricers in my area with hid fogs, they are effing bright as well as the lamps without projectors.
