I recently updated my orginal iPhone with the 2.0 update, and now when I plug in the phone to the iPod cable, it no longer prompts me to go to airport mode, and when I click the iPod/Aux button nothing happens.
Does anyone have an idea baout how to fix this?
Thanks in advance! |

There should be a fix, whether it's through software/firmware updates or a physical adapter. Hopefully soon!
It's weird though that you are getting that problem with your iPhone 2G... it should be working so it looks like it might just be a problem with the 2.0 ware. |

| Not sure what's up with your iPhone, but just to chime in, my iPhone 3G works just fine. Plugs right up, gives a notification about "this device isn't actually made to be used here" then asks if I want to go into airport mode. Answer no and it goes into regular operation via my head unit controls. Admittedly it does keep the error screen on, wish they'd fix that. |

I just got my 09 xB and after reading your post, I was nervious. I tried it out with my 2g iphone upgraded with the 2.0 firmware, and it worked perfectly.
Maybe you need to do a factory restore under itunes? |

I've got 2.0.1 on my original iPhone. Works fine in the t1808 (2008 xB). Once in a while it will say "COMM ERROR" or "NO SONGS" but a quick unplug/replug usually fixes it.
btw, it also worked fine with 2.0 software. |
