Hi, so i need some enlightenment...
Im deciding on a set of wheels mainly looking towards 19"s
whats the maximum width and offset can i run on 19s?? for front and back??

would 19x9 +36 19x10 +42 work?

19x8.5 +35 front & 19x9.5 +35 rear, maximum recommended width and offset, as long as you're on stock springs & shocks, or a mild drop like Tanabe NF210, Eibach Pro-Kit, or TRD springs. Personally I'd keep it at +40 offset front & rear for those wheel widths, but I know some people have pushed 'em out to +35 without being much past the edge of the fenders.
I know somebody who put on 19x9.5 +45 rears, and he had to add spacers because they hit the brakes and didn't clear. 19x10 +42 definitely won't work.
Are you looking at any wheels in particular? |

Hey Silverx here's a link to my post. Im on 18x8.5 +35 offset all around, the back can be pushed out a little more with some spacers. The front wheels are as far as i would go to make sure u dont rub. http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=229429&highlight=
oh and im on df210 now and I dont rub (maybe cause of my low low profile tires :rofl: )
Just in case u decide to go with smaller wheels. I have also seen some pics on this site of an xb2 with some wide wheels with a low offset, just not 19...... I think 16 or 17. I think if we had some camber options we could run way lower offset 19" or 20" wheels". :lalala: |

{"Kregghill" This is the setup I went with...
19-8.5 +35 Offset Front w/235-35-19 General Exclaim
19-9.5 +45 Offset Rear w/265-30-19 General Exclaim (might need a 3-5mm spacer)????? }

Marshall, from that thread you posted the link for:

Did he end up changing offsets?
I know somebody who put on 9.5 wide +45 offset on the rears, and they hit the brake calipers. He added 5mm spacers to clear. |

nope he stayed with those offests.. he just had mild fender rub in the rear so we had to roll the fenders flat.. |

What wheels did you order?
225/35-19 fronts and 245/35-19 rears should be perfect with no rubbing, as long as you don't plan on a heavy drop. If you want a heavy drop, go down to 215/35 tires on the front.
There is a wide variety of tire choices for these sizes, but I am a big fan of Falken FK452's for wet & dry traction, handling, wear, and ride quality at a reasonable price. |
