The idea is to keep the spare tire and the rear area clear at all times. I am a pro lacrosse player (goalie) and I want to be able to bring in my goalie gear in and out of the XB. I have a sub that will fit nice on the side of the car:

and if you look there I want that to look like that.
So amps under the front seats?
please provide your thoughts.... |

| I placed my amps both under the front seats. The distribution block is under the dash and the cap is under the hood. I ran my speaker wires on the leftside and the power on the right. Works great! |

the amp rack has "feet" on it that are braced against the floor..... the rack sits just above the spare tire...... I can lift it up and still access my spare
not sure if you can see, but here is a pic of the feet being done

Great timing on this thread! I've ordered the Elemental Designs custom speaker box (goes in place of the spare tire) and a 13Kv2. Hoping to make a happy little stealth system.
The one problem I'm trying to solve is where to put the amp. I'm having a little girl in December and I want all the room I can to carry stuff without hitting anything/scratching anything.
Under the seat sounds good... it's a large amp though, is it possible to put it under the rear seat or is that plastic tray a big hassle to remove? Is it worth removing or do you guys find that useful to keep? |

Can you PM or email the specs of your board you made? I think i am going to do that.
What kind of amps did you use? did they have fans build in to them? are you having over heating problems? |

sorry, no specs, just trial and error. amps have no fans, cover has a cutout with a mesh screen....no overheating problems
