Ok, just got the xd tonight and I am going to head out to purchase new headlight bulbs on Thursday. What do I need to look for as far as fitment goes? Do I look for the 90003 or whatever? Will any bulb with that number fit the xd? i really dont want to spend 50 + bucks on light bulbs so Im just going to try out some cheapes but want to make sure they fit.

H4 is 9003 and HB2 will work. Check out Sylvania for the right bulb sizes.

Yeah, went for the silverstars at walmart. They are like 37 bucks so i went for it. I did notice that Sylvania makes an even brighter bulb than the silverstars but they are about 60 bucks. They say they are 50% brighter as opposed to the 30% gain. Anyone tried those bulbs?

Silverstar Ultras are what you're talking about. They are a bit brighter, but I wouldn't worry about looking for them if you already have normal Silverstars. Those are great bulbs on their own. I used all 3 types at one point on my tC and love them all.

Skip the silverstars, they burn out very fast. Save up and get HIDs.
