|
|
I'm going to get new brake pads fairly soon, and want to here some options and opinions. Right now I'm looking at Dezod X rated, but have also heard good things about other pads. Anything will help! I don't want ANY squeaking, my Axxis's right now squeak like a MoFo and it pisses me off.
So, anything BESIDES Axxis. |

| No squeaking? Not sure there. Could try Hawk HPS... but I don't really know how they are on noise. |

| I just got the TRDs. They squeak like a mofo if you have the brake pedal pushed lightly, it seems like its starting to go away as they get broken in tho. |

yeah, dezod x-rated sound great, i think i remember dezod himself posting that they do squeak when they are cold, or on cold days in winter.
my next set will either be dezod x-rated or EBC red stuff. |

sciontc_mich wrote: EXCELLENT CHOICE on parts! Porterfield r4-s! you're going to love them! It might take a week or two of bedding in for you to fully feel the carbon-kevlar to it's full potential. Just letting you know, I had them before and it took a little bit of time to bed them in. But once they did, wow! They lasted about 50k miles on my old car, before they needed to be replaced. Yeah I'm not kidding they're that good! Minimal dust, high bite, just a great pad.
Can Dezod do the same for the price/mileage? |
