Okay guys i know this isnt really scion related but i need some help. My girlfriends got a 2000 volvo and i think the seals got blown on the factory turbo cuse it has well over 100,000 miles.
Does anyone know a shop in florida that can repair the factory turbo so she doesnt have to get a whole new one cuse itl cost her i guess like 900 for a new one.....
Im tired of driving her around everywhere so pleaaasseeee give me some help!!
I live in the palm harbor, pinellas area so any shops in clearwater st. pete or tampa would be great!!

| yeah dealers replace parts, anyway you could salvage from a junkyard or maybe try a turbo with close spec.. but yeah if you dont have anyone close, those are your best bet |

yeah i thought about that but i need it sooner than later.
I called a buddy of mine and he recommended this place so i called and they said it would be around $700 to repair it assuming nothing else is wrong....
Does this seem a little overprice seeing that i can get a brand new turbo at the ferman dealership for $930????? |

wait a minute am i the only one that sees that a stock volvo turbo is costing the guy 900 dollars?
an upgrade for a mitsubishi 50 trim costs 500~
my suggestion? do research and buy an upgraded turbo, not one too big though, it honestly should cost you about 300 dollars |
