I haven't seen anyone on this site locating gauges since there isn't anything out there that can utilize them.
What do you need them for, if you don't mind me asking :) |

Theres plenty of gauges that are useful even if your not running turbo.
I was thinking of putting one on each side of the gauages on the upper part since there really isnt anything there to light up. I'm also investigating if my brothers gauge pillar from the yaris will fit on the xD. Theres also a post on here somewhere that converts the driver side vent by the window to hold a gauge but me and my brother and doubtful of that because moisture can build up very fast in that area if blocked and will just ruin the gauge. |

well i was planning on making a custom pod that will go on the dash just above the dash, perfect spot. i am just looking for some gauges that look like they belong in the car and not look after market.
why have them? i want to know how hot, and how many volts, and the exact oil pressure. if something doesn’t feel right, or the car isn’t running normal, its nice to be able to scan the gauges and see if those systems are normal. idiot lights don’t always work.
to me its like the bank telling you, ya you have money in your account... i want to know how much! I just like gauges, you cant have to much info. |

oh, well garage1217 makes led swaps for tach, etc so it would make it easier to match and gauges that you like with it.

Oil, water, trans temp, vacuum....actually, there's a lot that should have been added to the XD instead of those rediculous idiot lights
By the time one of those go on, you've likely already screwed something up:( |
