Has anybody tried cutting the stick for the manual transmission? I find it sits about 1 inch too high, and would like it shorter, it looks sportier when it's short. Has anyone done it? I tried the search and couldn't find anything on this topic.

| i cut the one on my 2000 accord it worked pretty well.for me D i bought a super low offset shift knob from Razo.the top of the shifter shaft is literally a mm under the top cap of the knob i will put up some pics later |

| i know this is an old post, but did you ever go through with it? i would think the large plastic retainer would pose a problem..unless you just rip it off or something haha |
