| I'm just happy to be out of that "honda fanboi" stereotype that you are in when driving one. |

| Hey comon....he was trying to be a douche by posting this, but Honda does build nice cars. Right now most car manufacturers barely have variable valve timing in their midlevel cars. Yet Honda has had it in even their basic cars for a few years now. I actually hate the sound of most Honda motors. the thing is...Honda started as an engine company and began building cars...most companies start with cars and eventually design good engines. |

no i didnt post this to be a dick...
the tc just wasnt what i thought it was...
1) the TC's interior is "basic"
the RSX S has amazingly comfy leather seats
2) the TC needs more power from a 2.4 and boosting isnt cheap
the RSX S has a lot more power and while having little TQ doesnt feel like it...i have no plans on boosting a non turbo car
3) the TC's brakes were shitty and the RSX brakes arn't
4) the tc handled very "sloppy" while the RSX S is very tight.
5) the TC had a cool roof the RSXS does not
6) The tc tranny was not as smooth as the RSXS
7) the tc is more appealing (exterior wise) RSXS is rater plain
8)iVTEC is addicting and when the iVtec kicks it sounds very different then Vtec and did i say it is addicting
i respect all tc owners i was one it just didnt work out for me...
happy modding...i have some crappy cell phone pics of the RSXS if you all want to see it... |

you know most of the stuff you mentioned can be fixed very easily with a few simple mods.
1) Seats are always change able.
2) Eh I'll agree, but if I was looking for more power I would def NOT go with the RSX. Get an MS3 or the SRT4 or hell even the new Cobalt SS. I could never figure out why people would buy say and SI or a type-S when they could get something like the cars I listed which have a boat load more power and are only like a grand or two more expensive. That's just my personal opinion however.
3) Sorry I just don't see this one. I love the tcs brakes. I drove my moms honda CRV and it is god aweful. I'm hoping the Type S brakes are much much much much much better then the CRVs.
4) Everyone knows the tCs handling sucks stock. That's why a rear sway is always the mod being called out when people ask "what should I mod" Difference is night and day.
5)yes. yes it does have a cool roof.
6) I never drove a Type-S or any manual honda so I won't comment
7)I agree again. LOL
8.) I don't see this whole VTEC fascination but then again, I don't drive a honda so I won't argue this point. |

well if toyota was smart they would have added the VVTL-i into the tC |

Not trying to be a dick or anything but I got a couple of friends 1 of them witch bought an SI and the other 2 who both have a 06 rsx type-s... If acura never stoped making the rsx's i would of got my hands on one. but My point is that they both keep up with srt4 and cobalt ss... So why would you waist a grand more with a car that has a supercharger or a turbo when you can get a car that is non boosted or supercharged that keeps up with you... 1 of guys that has a rsx, he just got h/e and he keeps up with 350z's.... but thats just me |

| haha I actually do agree with you mostly. The tranny and brakes on a type -S even are much better than the tC. I have had my tC for 3 weeks and have missed more gears then 4 yrs driving my VW GLI..the chassis with the rsx and tc are very similar....theres just more hardcore N/A motor modders in the honda world. Luckly for me, I also have an 83 camaro(mullet mobile) I am working on a single t70 setup for! |
