| Umm, besides the shield an taking it to a body shop, I don't think there are many other options. They are only like $60 bucks on ebay...that's too expensive? |

| It may, hard to tell where the exhaust sits in those pics. I would imagine that the CF will hold up better than the plastic bumper though. |

it sits really close so i might have to adjust the hangers so it wont kit the carbon fiber |

I can't tell by the pics because I am at work and no uploaded pictures show, but the shop will probab;y have to sand it and repaint it. that's going to be a lot more than the CF heat shield, but will make it look almost stock again (depending if your bumper flexed in from the heat).
I say put in the money and take it to a shop. I personally hate covering things up, and it doesn't solve anything really. the problem's still gonna be there. |

My CF shield fit perfect also.
Buy the shield and cover it up. Only you will know it's there, and when funds allow get it fixed if you must. The money it will cost for a shop to fix that is going to be a couple of shields worth at least.
Buy the shield, and while your at it a longer hanger. The exhaust looks cool IMO, no need to change it and spend more coin. Put it toward something else. |

The shield basically sits flush with the bumper except for the width of the CF, which is like 1/16 of an inch or something. Pretty thin. Maybe an eighth at most.
BUT, it has a little lip on it. Dont have a pic to explain, but at the top it's got an extension on it thats maybe a quarter inch sticking out past where the OEM bumper is. You would have to worry most about that.
I'd get a hanger thats about an inch longer. It'd probably sit little more than 1/4 inch from the shield and still give it that tight flush look. My Injen is real close and looks pretty good in there @ about that distance away. |

| I would get a lower hanger also so it doesn't touch the bumper. any auto part store should carry it. |
