Well after I put in the switch for the TPS it works great. But I still have something that draws power from the battery every once in a while. I cant find out what it is. But I do hear something inside the Transmission pan but I dont know what that could be. I can hear it making a humming noise with the key off. Does anyone have this problem? Or knows what it could be?
This really sucks how the F/IC is killing my battery like it does! I need to get this thing strigten out or the F/IC is going to be taking out and replaced with the Greedy piggyback
Thanks,
Chris |

| Well doing this to bump this up, im not having this problem but i really do want to help, i have a question, those of you who have this problem, does your fic have power on the +12v while the car is turned off? The FIC should only be connected to ign not a constant 12v anywhere. Maps are stored on nvram meaning they dont need power to retain data so the unit only needs to get power when the ign is turned on, just curious if this may have anything to do with it. |
