Hi guys,
I just recently bought and installed the Kenwood Excelon DNX8120. I absolutely love the headunit...It is eveything I expected plus more! I decided that I am going to also install a 10" RF sub tomorrow. The sub is a few years old and has been sitting around here for a few years but I tested it with my multimeter and is still good. I can't really see the sense in spending much money on a single sub just to provide the rear fill bass for my audio stage so I'm sticking with that speaker. Now, my question is; What would you recommend for an amp to power this subwoofer? Keep in mind that in the near future I plan on replacing the door speakers with amp'd components. Would I be better off buying a multichannel amp tomorrow and just wiring the sub until I buy the components or should I just buy an amp for the sub and go the dual amp route? Either way I appreciate your ideas and I would also like to have some suggestions for amplifiers either way.
Thanks guys for having the best forum for TC's on the net!,

| For me, if I wasn't so bored I wouldn't have read all that. Even though you tried to be as detailede as possible you were missing some key details such as: What sub model is it? How many watts does it take in RMS? What is your budget? Stuff like that will help get u a definite answer. |

| you didn't specify what sub.... all you said is the brand, we can't help you amp match if you don't specify what the sub is rated at (RMS) and what configuration its at. also you forgot budget |
