| Check your brake fluid level and top it off. As the brake pads wear the brake fluid in the reservoir drops. When you turn the car sharp or accelerate hard it tends to slosh the fluid and trip the sensor. |

If the fluid is low enough to make the light come on due to pad wear, it is probably time to change the pads. Dont add fluid before you change the pads or you will end up overflowing it when you do change them and make a mess. In that case you have to use a turkey baster to suck some out before changing pads... in other words a pita.
And just for reference, it is just a brake light, not an ebrake light. It comes on if there is a leak, low fluid, pressure issue or the ebrake is on. |

^ ditto.
Check your pads and change them if needed before adding more fluid. |

its actually a gear you adjust, there is a little rubber thing on the bottom of your rear rotors, pop that off and move the gear up and this will tighten the cable, i know my light was on in 1st and 2nd bc of this |

| Had this happen to me when my fronts got down to around 80% worn; replaced them and problem solved. Do what everyone up there said ^^^ |
