| I did not use the car for a couple of weeks and it won't start. I am %99 sure I did not forget to swich off the light as it was the night when I parked. Is it normal? |

| we need more details.....does it crank? or do u hear a click noise when u turn the key..if it just clicks then yes battery is dead....jump start and ur good to go... |

| you hook it up to a slow battery charger which is better for the battery |

Thanks. I am sorry I was unclear. I knew how to jump start.
I was asking how to test if the battery is needed a replacement. And is it normal for the battery to die if left for a couple of weeks unattended, or I have to do something with it in that situation. |

| take it to a auto parts store to have 'em put a load tester on the battery they'll tell you if its good or bad |

If you get it cranked, do like dd suggested, go get it load tested. It sounds like a dead cell. Normally, a good battery will stay hot for at least a month or 2.
Do you have any mods that could cause a drain? |

| I did a keyless entry and a cruise control. Is there any swich or fuse that can be pulled easily off next time I have to park the car for a long time? Thanks. |

I don't see how either of those would cause a drain.
Simple test...park the car as usual(preferably in the shade), pull the pos. terminal on the battery and look to see if there is an arc between the post & the terminal. If there is, you have a circuit drawing juice.
Then, you just have to find what that circuit is..... |
