So I went to my local Toyota/Scion dealership yesterday, the same one I've always gone to, and I noticed my car didn't come back around as fast..ok whatever. 5 minutes later I see one of the techs drying off my car.. They never asked if I wanted a car wash, they've NEVER washed my car before..and my car is fully dumped on Tein SS-Ps.
Already bothered that my car has gone though an automated car wash, which has probably put some scratches my paint, I asked the tech if the car wash has rails. He says it does..I already know what this means... I do a full walk around the car and I find this on my front drivers side rim..
I'm going back tomorrow to talk to their Service Manager, as he is off this weekend.. Lets see what he says. |

| They should definitely pay to have it refinished/replaced especially since you didn't ask for a carwash. |

Nothing is set in stone at the moment..but idk what to do. If they do offer to get it fixed..I have no idea what I would be rolling on..I sold my stockies last month, along with my lugs.. So I don't know what they would offer me. Besides that, I'm starting to wonder how good they (or anyone else) would be able to color match it. |

| Wow, that sucks. I hate to say it, but they may say that you can't prove they did it. Why would they even go to the car wash in the first place?! |

| that sucks, had a friend here go to the dealership to have tires replaced cause he didnt trust any of the local shops to mount new tires and they ruined 3 of his wheels, not just a little either, so they owned up to it and bought him a full set, hopefully the same happens for you |

I had to take my tC to the dealer yesterday for a front brake job. When I was picking it up, I had to stand and wait at the pickup area while they brought the car around from the back. I saw my tC roll up with this young kid behind the wheel. He went to park in the space right in front of me, and I knew what was going to happen next. I put up my palm to tell him to STOP, but he kept rolling forward and got my bumper all hung up on the curb. Even after the first contact, it seemed like he still wanted to keep rolling forwards, making the problem worse. I watched my bumper get lifted up and scrape along the top of the curb-stone. After he was done, he tried to reverse back off the curb and I had to listen to more sickening crunching noises. He got out of the car all red-faced and just said, "That usually doesn't happen with these cars."
I was ready to blow up at the guy, but something inside me has stopped caring about my car recently. The bumper has taken so much abuse from freeway debris that it's just not worth stressing about a few more scratches and bruises. There are so many variables outside of your control that you just cannot expect to keep a car in mint condition for long. |

| Damn sorry to hear Chris, I believe that might not cost that much to get fixed. My buddy Charles with the vip style gen2 box got his AME's curbed and said it was only ~$40 to get it fixed. |
