You need to cut your fenders and get some wide wheels to go with it. And then you'll need a lot of custom work to fit it

Wide body kits usually require some sort of modification for it to be done right. Besides the obvious removal of the stock front and rear bumper, some cutting may be involved.

One of the first things you need to start considering is what wheels you're going to run. You'll need wider and with a different offset. If you don't get the right wheels to go along with it, it will look like poop and you'll have wasted your money.

Save your time and money man. don't go with a widebody. Body work is so expensive and annoying. Your lookin at over 5k for purchase, paint, installation and body work. but if you HAVE that kind of money...go for it.

Once you go wide body theres no going back. Cant part out of you ever decide to sell the car. Wide body consists of cutting the wheel wells a little bit, molding and bolting it to the fenders and quarter panels, and to be fitted with the gas cap and bumpers (maybe head and tail lamps too)
Expect to pay at least 3 - 4K Just for the paint if you want it good. Some people only paint the quarter panels, fenders and bumpers but if you want it all to match perfectly and flow. Your best bet is to also paint the doors and hood and trunk if you want to have it done show car style.
THen like davedave said you'll be spending a few K for wheels and suspension to make the wide body look good. |
