Hey everyone. I'm new to tuning TC's. I've had mine for 3 years now but I've just recently taken an interest in tuning it. I ordered the car with TRD springs and struts and a TRD exhaust. Other than that my car is bone stock.
I'm a former Honda tuner. I had a '97 Civic HB with an Integra Type R engine in it. It ran 13.7 in the quarter with the ITR engine pretty much stock. The last few weeks I've been bitten by the need to get another toy. So I started looking around for parts for the TC. Then it happened. My girlfriend, Sarah, told me she'd buy me a CF front lip for my upcoming birthday, and then preceded to tell me I could buy a turbo kit if I wanted to. She had seen me checking them out almost every night for a week. I've never done boost so I've spent the last week or so reading whatever I can about turbo kits and TC's.
So that's where I'm at. I'm trying to find out whatever I can about boosting and I've been working OT so hopefully I can have my car boosted and tuned by spring. Tuning....it's a horrible disease, but it's so much fun! Looks like I've been bitten again! |

there is a subforum that is labeled as "forced induction"
there you'll find many options as well as information about boosting and the necessary work to achieve a good setup. |

I'll have to check that out. I've seen some pretty nice TC's around the area but haven't actually gotten a chance to talk to anyone about mod's or anything.
I'll post pics when I get a chance. My car is pretty much stock so not much to look at. Once my CF lip comes I'll take some pics and see what everyone thinks.
Are there any boosted TC's in York? I haven't seen any yet. |

Yup. I boost! You should come out to the end of the month meet. I was hanging out with Dustin this weekend (black cherry w/ turbonetics kit) at the Mt. Wolf show, I brought my streetbike up and left my tC at home.
If you see mine out, its nautical metallic blue. I dont drive it much. |

Here are some pics of my TC. Like I said, pretty plain. I'll post more when my CF lip comes in this week.
And here's one of my old sleeper hatch with an ITR engine in it. ;-)
Enjoy! |

I got those out of the demo car at diehl toyota. The backs are the same style only without the stitching.

I know. I miss that car. It was one of those things where I was living with people and it wasn't workin out so it had to go so I could get out on my own. The guy I bought it from blew it up 3 weeks later. I loved that car. It was the ultimate sleeper. :-)[/quote] |

Thanks man. I've thought of gettin rid of them because I don't care for leather as much as I thought I would've, but I like the fact that they are different. |
