I still laugh at having the tow hook in all the time.. sorta like saying you expect to need a tow... in many places that would be bait for a lot of jokes  Kinda like the guy I saw the other day with Honda written backwards on the front window of his accord so you could read it in your rearview.. I guess so the guy beating him would know what he beat :D
Honestly though, do what you want if that is what you are into. |

| My 10hp Troy Bilt chipper has a tow hook. Because it's a chipper. "Ability to be towed by hooks" was not on my list of desirable car features. |

well it obviously should have been becuase you have a tc with a circular plate on the bumper which covers a hole that screams " PUT A TOW HOOK IN ME!" |

| Exactly. A COVER. No where does it say "Screw this thing into the bumper and drive around with it sticking out." Every time I see one on a perfectly functional tC, I want to grab a length of cable and padlock it to a lamppost. |

there's a white tC on these forums with that red tow hook.
some of my friends have Benen tow hooks on their cars (hondas and wrx's). i think theyre more of a fashion statement like plaid headliners. some honda guys put starbucks cups in theirs LOL |

I could understand it if there was no cover and just a hole. You'd want to put something there. But that's why there is a cover. Even if for some crazy reason they came with no cover there so you could easily put the hook on, I'd still hope someone made a cover to fit there.
