| When I drive a ticking sorta tapping noise happens a lot. Seems to be coming from my back window area. Sounds like tapping on glass with key. Bumps in the road cause the noise to occur and it happens a lot. Can't figure out where it's coming from because I'm driving while it happens. Anyone else have that problem? |

| Could be lots of things causing it. Have someone investigate the noise when you drive. Maybe they can push on stuff and find where it's coming from? |

Turn the music up.
Some of the body panels creak... also, check to see if you have a pebble in the tread, that will cause it too. |

| I hear a ticking noise too right outside my driver side window. I think it's a stone in the tread or the hubcaps or something like that. (on my car that is) |

I have read of instances where the rear window blows out for no apparent reason.
Could this be an issue?
Flexing? |

Are your windows up or down?
Have you ever removed any of the interior plastic trim pieces?
Loud stereo system? |

| There's not many things that can cause the noise you're talking about... I had a few I ended up having to line the bottom of some of the interior plastic pieces with some dynomat. I feel your pain though. As soon as I went from a 10" kicker sub pushing 200 watts to a 12" JL pushing 400watts rms, the whole car started vibrating. It took about 2 weeks to find all the little rattles and vibrating pieces and isolate them individually. |

| The rough ride from the 18"s will cause little vibrations and noises too. |

I found that my seat belt will make a ticking noise unless it is in the clip to hold it in place. Just a suggestion, check it out. The buckel taps against the plastic.

Hey nice tip. I'll have to give that one a try because I hear a weird ticking sound too but oddly enough, it doesn't speed up when I accelerate. |
