Hello guys.
I got the HKS boost controller basically free with when i picked up my turbo kit.
It apprears to be used. I honestly have no idea whats supposed to be in the package and what gets mounted where.
I took some picture of the whole thing so maybe you guys can tell me if its a complete package or not , if not what else do i need ?
also , how can i check if the controller even in good operating condition ?

| ^^ check the HKS site and look for manual, but i think they pretty much just bolt up.. the lil vacuum block though you need to find out which one goes the vacuum source and which one goes to the wastegate |

HKS manuals are usually all in Japanese.
The hardest part is finding out the designations on the stepper motor.
I would go to DSMTalk or Honda-Tech and ask people who use this controller. |

| The larger port on the outside is the controller hose that will go to wastegate. The center is the one that gets the boost source( close to turbo as possiblej). The outside smaller port goes to intake manifold. Looks like you have everything except the wire harness that connects the stepping motor to the unit. Very good boost controller |

Xceptionalauto got it.. he knew which ports are which.
All you need to do now is hook up the vac/boost lines as xceptionalauto has stated, then wire the unit to the stepping motor. |

| There are no other important parts. You can make a harness just match up connectors and run wire accordingly. Im sure I can find you a harness if needed. |

Ace had a good suggestion from the beginning..
But HKS was notorious for having terrible US support.. but apparently they've fixed that recently. Now it's easier to find US instructions for their products. |

| Not sure what else to tell you without hooking it up for you. The control units go in the car mount were you prefer. The stepping motor mounts under the hood away from heat. Connect the hoses like I stated before. The wires in the car are power and ground. I sent hks email about harness, they dont list the part but we will see what they say. If you do hard wire just pay attetion to harness connector cause some of them are not just color to color. Just make sure you look at the way it would plug together and wire accordingly |

| You can use a 12v source to see if the unit turns on.. other than that, I think you may need to really install it. |
