if an aftermarket sunroof was ordered through a dealership, who should cover the warranty? if the dealership is responsible, does it mean that you can bring it to any Scion Service? Please advice. Thanks in advance

the keyword on your post is "aftermarket". if you order the sunroof from the dealer and have them "install it" what they will be doing is outsourcing it to an outside installer, yes the dealer will tell you it's under "warranty" but actually it's warrantied by the company who installed it. now keep in mind if you have an issue with the sunroof you cannot take it to another scion dealership. JMHO.

Yep thats true, Mine is aftermarket wabaso dealer add on. They said the sunroof is covered by the instaler for the 3 year 30k warranty same as the cars. If something goes wrong they (the instaler) will fix it. My dealer said they would take it to him if anything goes wrong.
