| I've noticed some scuffs and dings on the lower front skirt of my toaster. I figure since this is sort of an impact area, maybe instead of trying to keep the paint looking good, I could take the two pieces off and spray them with that RhinoLiner stuff? It would probably do a good job repelling chips and give the front end more of a sport utility look :P |

I recall an older thread about this. I don't know that anyone's actually done it, though.
Still, it's not a bad idea, and would be an easy DIY project.
The lip kit I had was painted in chalkboard paint, but I've since touched it up with Rustoleum Professional Enamel flat black rattle-can, and it A) matches perfectly and B) seems to be a fairly tough finish so far. It's no Rhino Liner, but it gets the job done pretty well with minimal chipping on the front lip. |

| I would say go for it, I have had my box 3-4 years and my front end is destroyed. |
