|
|
So today, techinically speaking tuesday the 19th i began to assemble my custom tC turbo kit...
im running a garrett 60-1 turbo, 57trim & .70 a/r with a cast iron manifold
today went by easily, we removed the oil pan, which was suicidal but the job got done, took out the intake, old header, and radiator fans, we assembled the turbo to the manifold and clocked it to make it fit. 2moro (wedsday) im expecting my dezod IC piping and dezod oil feed/drain lines to come in so i can pop in the dezod fmic so thursday i can have it towed, or lol driven open turbo to the exhaust shop to whip me up a DP. here are some pics of today.
here is before turbo my beutiful ROYGBIV alphawerks header
header off
removing oil pan, heres my friend working for the life of him to take off that oil pan, finally did after shmelting it w/ the blow torch lol thank u turbo write up
mani&turbo before its on car
loving the inlet.
and mounted to head
where teh DP will go
its a work in progress hopfully 2moro things will go smoothly...
ill try n keep u updated, boost gauge is mounted also ill try n geta pic of that too. |

Uhg.. I don't like Oscar's...
Does he still have his Audi S4? That kid lies a lot - and he inflates his numbers on the dyno. I saw some cars making numbers they really shouldn't in person. |

ive heard alot of bashing bout oscars i heard they actually show numbers that seem to be a little bit low. Iv worked with him on my car in the past and found him to be quite knowledgeable with a turbo tC and the aem unit. he even tunes turbo tCs on teh safcII, id rather not go down that road which is wh¥ im using aem. plus there location is so damn conveniant, i may get tuned at lopez racing which is where im going to get my 3''dp &wastegate purge made. i was going to go to miami muffler but they seem to be slackin on some stuff particularily in the flange department. i just finished hookin up my new mini radiator fan. the boomslang just came in the mail just waiting on UPS with the damned dezod pipes. |
