I bought these headers from some dude on craigslist and now I don't need them.
Someone checked out my posting on craigslist and said that it doesn't look like the MMW Headers!
Help me out guys!
i know that there is suppose to be a MMW Motorworks logo on the headers!
Are these REAL????

yes, they are, believe me, i have a set on my tC, those are the real deal.
they did release a newer version that was revised for better clearances i believe, but yeah, those are really weapon r header...cept...there should be a plaque between the two pipes in the middle that says "Weapon-R"
but it perfectly matches the pictures that you can pull up of them anywhere online. |

| Yeah I saw these on craigslist too, was skeptical too. Why not pick up the dc headers in the classifieds? |

remember, these were sold as mmw AND weapon R. same header. one had a badge, 1 did not.
those appear to be real to me. |

i spoke to chris from weapon r and he said that it looked 50/50 like the ones they make.
so it might be a knock off from ebay from what he told me and the gasket it came with was not the ones they sale as well.
so i don't know. i just want to get rid of them because i got busted around my area with it
luckily he let me go and told me to have them removed or next time i'm going to receive a ticket for it and plus court!
why even bother! |

you shouldn't care about a used gasket anyway. spend the $10 on a new one.
and so what if its a "knockoff"...not rocket science here...its a bunch of metal tubing that looks exactly like the mmw |

| looks like version 1 MMR header.....but it is missing the side flanges that the set plates go into....could of been ground off though. Also could be the Tsudo.....my guess is if it has the MMW box it is Weapon R. |

But hp gain from version 1 to 2 is there a difference or pretty much the same?
And from dynos how much actual gain is there from mmr headers? |

the difference was two pieces mated together...more for assembly/install.
mmw + s/c = 21whp gain for me (dyno dynamics) |
