|
|
OK here's the deal i just ordered the Weapon - R Headers, and my older brother has generously offered me to choose any exhaust i want to go with it..Right now i am looking into the Tanabe Medalion Touring Cat Back Exhaust System , and even though it cost $600 he is cool with it, but heres the thing, i have only found 1 clip of this exhaust on a tC with no header, and its pretty quiet...So in the end when adding the header will i get a deeper sound..i will provide the link to the clip below, and any other exhaust recommendations will greatly be appreciated

| You're likely going to get some rasp with any aftermarket header and exhaust combo. Best suggestion is to get them installed and then have a shop weld in a resonator if needed. |

your going to get a lot of rasp from your header.. either get a resonator or a glasspack which i have on my car. here is a video of my car with strup header, invidia down pipe, and a agency power exhaust with glasspack.

| Ok from personal experiance my buddy up here has the Weapon R header like I do....he has the Agency Power exhaust with it .........no other mods to the exhaust and when cold it has minimumal rasp and when warm it has almost none and is low and deep in sound....even cold it is great sounding and is only a little over $600....and looks sweet......just an idea. |

| So in getting the Tanabe Medalion Touring Cat Back Exhaust System would not be a good idea..the video i posted at the beginnining i know had no header, but that was only to show you what it sounded like without one..much quieter than most out there..and yes i know adding a header i will get rasp and need resonators..i am prepared for that..its just i am given the opportunity to choose any exhaust i want..not an easy task huh..lol |

| if you want a full catback exhaust get yourself a AP exhaust, its only like 50 more then the tanabe one you want to get.. because even without a header the AP exhaust still has a nice tone to it.. but i agree the tanabe sounds way to stock. |

and that i take it is something i dont want..hmmm..i will look into the agency
way to go man, trust me man you will love the AP exhaust. When i first got the exhaust i stood and looked at the thing inside the boxs for like 30 minutes getting my jollies off.
if you want a exhaust that sounds stock and no one will give a double take look at then get a tanabe exhaust, but if you want a exhaust that says "big daddy is here and I aint playing" then get the AP exhaust. |
