| That was before I even installed the entire exhaust. I put the tip section in place and left the rest of the stock exhaust on. The entire thing is on now and it fits BETTER than stock. |

| custom magnaflow with 2.25" piping. Get a quote om an exhaust shop. it'll probably be cheaper than buying one too. |

I have the "search and do your own damn research before posting a thread about it" exhaust. It's fantastic.
Srsly though... at least get some ideas in your head before just making a generic "what is the best ....?" thread. Use the red search button at the top. Go to youtube. Try google. Anything. |

Hey guyz, speaking of exhaust, I wanted to see if anyone else has a problem like me. I have tried a few exhausts out there, but every single one I get sounds like garbage. The raspy crap sound. Like a crotch rocket hitting redline in a coffee can. It all started when I got my header. I havent done a full exhaust kit yet, because I am scared I am going to be wasting my money. But I have done a tsudo axle back, and a custom done flowmaster axleback, and I had to switch back to stock because of the sound. Even my stock exhaust reveals that pinging rasp. Do you think it is just that stock resonator in my mid pipe? Maybe with the header, there is just too much flow for that stock resonator. I'm just not sure if I should risk spending my money on a full exhaust if it is just going to sound like crap. |

| Keep in mind, I have a 4-1 header, and an axle back. The entire mid section is bone stock. no mods. The only thing left is the resonator. The header deleted my cat. converter. |

The header will make any exhaust sound like poop, unless you add resonators to the midpipe. No way around it, unless you go back to stock header.
The stock midpipe has a small resonator and another catalytic converter. For better results, get an aftermarket midpipe, add a large resonator (Magnaflow or Aero Exhaust resonator) and a high-flow cat. If you decide to go with a 2.5" exhaust, I have a used high-flow cat and resonator that I need to get rid of, lol. Nothing wrong with them. |

| Thanks for the reply, I will have to see what happens if I just go for an entire cat-back. My header deleted the cat, so basically a cat back should bolt directly up to my header. If that doesn't work I will go to step "B" as you were saying, and throw a high flow cat on it. I'll post back and give you the word. Thanks again. |

| I don't know if my car may be different, but my stock exhaust consisted of a manifold, cat, resonator, and muffler, I checked today, and there was only one cat, and my header deleted it. Do you think the exhausts were different with the years. Mine is an 05. |

no, there is a cat in the stock mid pipe along with resonatore, most cat backs delete that cat but keep the resonator. but with the header it will sound like complete poop and u will need custom work done to add resonators and a cat if u want one.
all this has been said about 2000 times minimun please search |
