|
|
I have a 08 tc spd. As of right now i have a trd supercharger stock, and a trd axle back. I'm getting some work done by GUDE Performance in Cali. They did a head job, and some light cam work on a 08 Xb and were able to make over 30hp. I got in contact with Faye at the shop, They haven't done anything on a s/c tc and so they were willing to sponser everything for experiment reasons. I will be getting everything back in just a couple of days. I removed everything with the help of some friends and am going to be putting it back together too. I need to find some sort of manual that shows the torque specs of the head bolts and other info. any help would be great. The shop hopes to make over 50 hp on just their mods alone. Here's a list of everything
GUDE Performance: Custom intake mani, re-grind cams, fully port and polish heads, valves, springs, ported throttle body w/ spacer.
My mods to be put on, Customer CAI, Agency Cat back, DC header w/ spipe, NST fulley pulley set including 9 psi pulley. Hope to have dyno pix up soon
Any manual names, or websties that would help would be awsome, thanks guys |

| Any updates? I'd love to hear how this head package worked out for you. I'm interested in it myself, I want more power but I dont want to get rolled by the cops in socal. The factory s/c just sounds like trash. |

| Cylinder head bolts are torqued to 58 ft pounds then 90 degree turn. You do them from the middle to the outside in an x pattern. Make sure that you do the 58 ft pounds in several steps starting about 20 ft pounds. Once you get to 58, check them one more time then do your 90 degree turn. If I were you I would get a set of arp studs though. |
