Are there any differences between the 06 and 08 head? Will a 06 head fit and work properly without modification on my 08 tC? Thanks in advance!

head as in the engine

edit* I know there are differences in the block, I am unsure about the head though... would like definite confirmation if possible before i commit to this project...

revised camshafts? if so how is it that it will work without an issue? :\ I am looking to send this head out to Dezod for their port and polish services...

well simple... you can always swap your cams over :P.
your gonna have to take your head off anyways

also if your handy with tools dont send it out to Dezod .. do your self a favor and buy a port and polishing kit and do it your self and save a bunch of money. if your planning on getting larger valves then send it off to http://cncport.com/ i believe they will resize and reangle it for around $300

also here is a basic P&P guide

Thanks man I will definitely look into this when the head comes in. I will definitely do some more research about the fitment and functionality of the 06 head on 08 before I commit to anything though. Like you said, doing it myself would save a lot of money and get me experience (the kit looks like its beginner friendly) however time is the obstacle I have to overcome at this point due to being a full time college student as well as going to work every day right after school until around 10, with my only day off being Wednesday lol... either way, I will make it work one way or another :p
