i took my car in the dealer to find out why i keep running the code p0300 p0300, they have diagnosed everything and came up with a fuel injector. could that be my problem for constant misfiring,
and if i do change out the injectors. is it a bad idea to put aftermarket injectors in without having a boosted box.
ive been looking at RC 330cc injectors. but if anyone can help out with better ideas pls inform me.
my gas mileage went from 800km -tank
down to 350-400kms-tank.
ive cleaned everything replaced what needed to be ie. coils, plugs. |

Well PO300 is a random misfire they cant pin point the problem one?
I have replaced 2 on mine I pick them used at the junk yard for about $10 each.I used a 9 volt battery to get them to fire and spray gum cutter thru them.
The seals are pretty cheap if the dealer stocks them if you are careful you may be able to get away without replacing them the first time.

thanx scott. ya i know bout the p0300. i asked them to check my timing but dont think that could of caused the problem, i would have had the same code as b4 p0012 when they replaced the camshaft gear assy, under warranty. but finding the right injectors at a scrap'rs is pretty hard up here. i may just order some echo ones. bout 120 with ship.
you know wats really stupid. i work for the dealer i got it checked out by and they said they would need to order the parts from the US cuz its an american car. and the price they came back at me with was 177$ea. thats with my discount. |
