I haven't tried the engine damper but I think most people are putting a grounding kit on their engines to help with the shaking (rough idle).

yeah i had done some research and saw that people were doing the grounding kit but I just thought that the damper might actually hinder the shaking of the engine.

If anything you would go with new bushings as the dampner only comes in to play when your engine torques like when you slam on the gas otherwise it just sits there. May or may not fix the issue if the motor is running rough a set of poly bushing would just amplify the situation but if it is a bad mount it would help.

thanks for the input but i think that its not the motor running roughly just a little excess shaking at idle at a stop sign with the a/c but yeah it might need new mounts. Any idea how much new mounts cost and how hard to replace?

the a/c just puts alot of draw on the idleing engine load, and cuases it to shake, my car does it alot with the a/c on, so inturn, i hardly use the a/c. if you could turn the idle up some, and keep it their, itd be better, but when i did it to mine, by the next day the tps im guessing had sensed it, and nixxed my little adjustment, their is a throttle adj screw, its just small lol.

I got you and like Cinder said these thing disagree with the AC for sure! I actually posted up a video showing how mine shakes in another post but here is the clip http://s270.photobucket.com/albums/jj86/365Motorwerks/?action=view¤t=xbrattle.flv
And here is a link to the mounts and install instructions...

What about the underdrive pulleys? Has anyone used one and noticed a difference in the idle under load?
