just unplug the old one, and plug in the new one, provided it is from the same year as your car ( 04 and 05 are different from 06+) and if you have an auto, make sure you get an ecu fomr another auto.. you should be ok... some have said that their odo picks up the mileage from the new ecu, hopefully you get one with less miles then your old ecu...
just curious - how did you fry it?
you may want to look on ebay japan and get a "BB" ecu which doesn't have the "learning ecu from what i understand or an echo ecu.. if you plan on doing any real performance mods that require piggyback fuel controllers. |
