I've looked around the forums and checked out what everyone has said about the back-up cameras and it seems that just about everyone is happy when them. I've searched and searched the forums to see what camera everyone is using, but I can't follow most of the links that have been posted. Plus most of the threads are questions about the initial setup.
I'm trying to find a camera to hook up to my shoddy Power Acousik Headunit and will fit into the rear wiper hole. Not sure what the difference is between the two but after reading all the threads it seems that a CCD camera is better than a Cmos camera.
What cameras are you using!? Post up a link if you can |

I'm using the Com003 on my carPC.
I was able to get one from a closeout site a while back for $99. I also tried several other cheaper units, but they all had the same issue... dead within 3 months! This one is better quality and has lasted almost a year.

You will have to file away at the hole to make it about 1/16" larger. A Dremel and a grind bit will make quick work of the hole. |

| I have a rear view camera in place of my wiper. To be honest i use it maybe once a month. the only reason i installed it was to fill the hole once my wiper broke off from my system beating on it. I wouldnt buy one unless u know that u will use it alot. just my .02 |
