| Has any one done this on the first gen box? Did it increase the volume (loudness) of the exhaust tone any ? I put on a dc sports 2.0 stock muffler on my xB, And without the baffle it sounds good but not loud enough . |

| Yes i did it on mine a year ago>>>> well its does get louder but u lose bottom end but at high its a lil moster but then again i have headers ahaha.. mostly gets louder and annoying thinking of putting it back |

| I have headers and 2 1/2 inch piping cat back stright pipe and no res and the thing is loud and sounds beffy LOL!!!! I love it LOL!! |

| it's certainly louder, but if you have a header, it's just plain obnoxious, and ou will lose a bit of lower end, but high rpms it'll rip. |

| I love mine loud to i forgot how it sounded when it was all stock LOL!!! I have headers and full 2.5 catback LOL!!! It is loud and old people hait me LOL!!! |

| but would'nt that make it quiet ? I know when you replace a stock muffler with one it's LOUD but with a muffler???? unless you plan on running with out a muffler? |

| no glass packs are really loud...always ran them because in the technical sense its a muffler. they have a really deep sound. basically a resonator stripped of most of the baffling. |

| I elemined both rez and muffle and put a glass back on and it was loud as hell the way i like it!! Then i wen to stright pipe and with a N1 Muffle and it sounds nice and loud and deep still when the muff warms up LOL!!! |
