| I'm looking to add a bit of power to my xB. I don't want to do anything that might risk the engine's wellbeing, but I'm looking into different exhausts and cold air intakes right now. What are your guys opinons? |

thats what ive kind of heard.
I dont want to go too loud. It would bother me when i'm driving and it dont want to attract any unnecessary attention. You think the strup v2 would fit into what im looking for? |

so im pretty sure ill be going with strup for the exhaust.
I do have a question tho. I never really thought I was going to do power mods, so I dont really know that much about the engine and such. What is the difference between short ram and cold air intakes? |

| short ram intake will be a tube with the open cone filter about wehre the stock airbox is right now.. the cold air intake goes past that and down and has a cone filter aswell.. but it is just in a better place for sucking in cooler air. |

The Strup is pretty loud.
If you add a header, any exhaust will get louder. Less backpressure=more sound.
I really like my Precision axleback. It's got a great tone and there's actually a slight increase in power (rare for many axlebacks) It's a Magnaflow muffler, so it's nice.
(I'm not just saying this because I'm selling mine... the only reason I'm really selling mine is because my girlfriend doesn't like it). |
