Im looking at changing up my suspension a bit, I already have the Eibach pro kit springs, but I want to go lower and space my wheels.
I was looking at two options,
first is the raceland coilovers,
and the second is Kony yellow shocks and struts.
I know that the Kony shocks and struts are height adjustable up to 35 mm, but I s that just the struts? or is it the rear shocks too? Im having trouble understanding how you could lower a shock.

My thought process was, that I could spend 400 for lower end coilovers, or about 500 or so for top of the line shocks and struts.
in both cases, i want to lower my car about an inch, maybe a bit more, so i could do that on both.

My car has almost 60k on it, and I know that you are supposed to change shocks and struts around 60-70k anyways, so Im wondering what I should go with.
does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Im looking at buying Raceland coilovers, I already have a Eibach Pro kit lowering spring kit, but I want to go lower. My current drop is 1.5 in front and 1.8 in rear.

I just wanted to see some pics of an xa that has been lowered, 2-3 inches over stock. So please post pictures!

Also is it true if you max out your coil overs that the ride will be bouncy? and if I were to drop it the full three inches (maxing out the coilovers) do you think the control arms would be hitting the struts (I hear that is a potential issue)

Thanks!

My question is would coils of Corolla work with xA's struts/rear axle?
Has anyone looked at this or tried this?
Thanks.

My car has a tolerable ride when it empty although a bit soft.

When I carry weight [4 people or stuff in the rear] the back end sags enough that I am concerned about a wheel rubbing [205/65-16]

I DON'T want to lower the car at all. I gather I need some heavier springs in the rear ? Progressive so they are soft when it's empty but support more as load goes up.

Recommendations ?
TIA

Hello,
I've got an 06 xb, 130k miles, it was bone stock until I went for new TRD springs, strut bar and rear sway.
I installed them myself, but I might have messed something up. Going over hard bumps, the front makes a knocking sound. I checked the strut bar, its tight.
I took off the wheel, pulled on everything and shook it all to see if anything was loose. I smacked the disc a few different ways and it made a clunk sound and seemed to reseat itself. I thought I solved the problem, but its back, though maybe 10% as bad as it was.
Anyone have any suggestions?

The only thing I can think is that the disc is still not on properly ( I didn't remove it or the caliper, by the way). Or maybe the old tired bushings on the front sway bar and making noise? I now I need to change them but was going to wait a few months, could they be making noise?

Little help?
Thanks
