Default Fake?!

I ordered were fake ones so I have to send them back to the vendor. Now I have to order real ones.
How do you know they are fake? I think I ordered mine from ScionSport too, but have yet to try and install them.

when taking off the scion emblem off the back of your TC, how bad did the holes look? Can you post some pitures. I wanted to take mine off too, but always wondered if it will look like the back of honda's when the "H" is taken off.

i'm pretty sure it's gonna be the same. just like a bimmer's holes or any cars holes. unfortunately. u can buy little clear plugs at least it'd be less noticeable and would get any water in there.

i used the dental floss method for mine. i waited almost a year before taking them off, so there was a lil discoloration. but i clay barred it, and buffed it with a dark colored swirl remover, and waxed a couple of times with meguires gold class liquid, and it looks beautiful now

I'm not sure, but I think that the front is part of the grill

i just removed all my emblems, plus numerous body panels.

the BEST panel/emblem remover is... get this: a flat plastic cooking spatula. the same type you buy so you dont scratch up your pots and pans!

i tried numerous things, and that worked 1000 times easier than all else combined. one of the wide ones works best, since it distributes the pressure over a wide area and therefore puts far less strain on the plastic, which is what normally causes it to bend and break. hope that helps for all you DIYers out there... patt

When you say clay buff do you mean compound? Also what is Dark swirl remover? Sorry for the noob questions but I am just getting started into the car thing as a hobby and dont want to hurt the car.

Thanks
