Question CRITIQUE MY DEAL! POST-MORTEM: Did I get a good deal?! 2006 Scion xA.

Hey everyone, just bought my first Scion, coming from a 1999 Lexus GS400.

It's a 2006 xA with 77k miles on it.

It isn't in great cosmetic shape, but it appears to be mechanically sound, other than the crazy airbox shake/vibration that I just found out is common.

There are dings and small dents and scratches on the car from being in the city. The rear bumper is scratched up bad from the girl removing her luggage to and from the car, letting it probably drag out instead of lifting it. The front bumper has scrapes on the bottom of the car due to her scraping since the car is so low, it isn't sitting flush but it seems fine. Spoiler needs a good clay bar and wax due to the heat here.

The interior needs a good detail due to the prior owner eating and having dogs inside the car.

I am the third owner.

Tires are cracking due to the Texas heat but have good tread life left, will see what I should do with that.

I mainly bought it because the people seemed like genuine people, although the daughter of one of the people selling it wasn't there, who was the primary driver.

They were asking $5650.

I paid $4800.

Texas presumptive value is $4575.

KBB Trade in is around $4200-4500.

Sooooooooo PLEASE give me your honest opinions!

Thanks! Look forward to talking to y'all soon!

$4,800 is a steal, as long as it runs good that's a great price.
