Throwin out the intro thread.

I've been "tuning" cars longer than i've had my license, but i'm a honda head. I've had 3 civics, an integra, a del sol, an accord, and i currently have an 09 fit, an 81 civic wagon and a 73 cb750. Just picked up an 06 xb1 as a beater, but as we all know, the modbug doesn't stay away long. This is supposed to be a car to rack up miles on and use as a work car, but I can't help myself. It needs a LOT of TLC, so while i'm "fixing" i may as well "upgrade".

it's an 06 xb1 base, black on black 5spd, actually has some stock scion rims on it, but i'm not a fan. I'd rather run on steelies (if anyone is close and wants to trade, hint hint) A/C fan went out on the drive home. Worked for 3 hours, stopped at Publix right in front of my house to grab dinner, got back in the car, no fan. A new blower motor should be here tomorrow, hoping that's the issue. If not, I'll order a resistor and see if that does it.

I guess my question is, what are the simple things people do to enjoy these boxes more? Any little things I can do? Right now i've been on sticker removal and cleaning duty. I'm looking for a short throw shift, a very slight drop (maybe tein s tech or df210), some window visors.

Also joined clubxb, same name. any other forums I should know about?
