I have a 2011 Scion tC that I bought as salvage. AC worked the day I got it but quit the next day. Took back and he said it was the High Pressure AC line leaking. I took to shop and they replaced High Pressure line and also the condenser. Brought home and is doing same thing. (Blowing warm air) Called them back and they said they think it is an electrical issue and referred me to another shop. Took to them and they say diagnostic codes say EC unit bad. Say they spoke with 2 different Toyota technicians who agreed with EC unit being bad. Unit was replaced and still does the same thing. Odd thing is, when diagnostic scanner is hooked up the AC will work but will not work after it's disconnected. Shop gave up and said they couldn't fix it. Said they took dash apart and did wire check from controls to AC system and could not find any issues. I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do now. These guys are supposed to be the best at AC repair in my area. Anyone have any ideas?
