So where is the oil filter located at?

I was looking for it but couldn't find it do I have to go under the car to get to it?

Yes! If you open up your hood and look down the front part of the engine at the bottom you will see it hangin down there. :D

It IS pretty damn small but you can see it. I recomend the filter removal tool that is like a giant socket that fits over the end of the filter and you can loosen it with a ratchet.

Do you know what size tool I should get for the oil filter removal. Hey thanks for your help kdanie. I opened the hood and looked for it but didn't see. I'll take a closer look tommorrow. I hate those smart a$$es that says read your manual so they can just be a post *****. Instead of just giving up relevant info.

I believe the filter wrench you buy should be number 1 or the smallest one available. But, to make sure I took the filter in to the shop to make sure. I actually use the one from my Honda (wrench) because Hondas new filters are really small as well.

Here's a pic I took of the filter location showing the oil drain bolt as well. The black thing that is really close to the camera is the splash guard of the front bumper. I didn't have to lift the car to get to either the drain bolt or filter
