The ULTIMATE MicroFiber test!!

Oh, no worries then. That's prolly the stuff that looks just like
the Turtle Wax stuff listed above (in red mind you).
Trust me, a light polish, done by hand and it will all go away!
PM me and I'll give you some links with guides on how to
polish. Painting over is NOT the correct way to solve this
issue!!

Have you seen Griot's?
Have you seen the detailing supplies at Griot's? A friend let me borrow their catalog. Wow...they have this down to a science....expensive science though.

If you're out here at all, You can get like 1, 3, and 6 packs (something like that ) of Meguiars Supreme Shine Microfiber towels at SuperAutobacs.
I used them to get the wax off my car this week and I haven't noticed anything.

Ummmm, if the hems are all that have scratching potential and the cloth soundly doesn't scratch, is there anything wrong with sewing 2 together in a u-shape, then flipping them inside out and sealing the hole you used to flip shut with thread? Maybe I'm thinking too literally here on removing the issue altogether.
I'm asking this before I test the mf towels I got from target a couple of days ago... vroom brand or something like that...

I bought some Maguiars last weekend and they seem good. No scratches, but I had no AOL CDs to test on...
They have good piping on the edges and seem safe.
I want to wash them and then try the scratch test on a CD - when they're new, they're really soft, but sometimes washing/drying makes them rough (towels anyway)

I tested the Walmart sold Microtex on a CD. There was some very light marring when I rubbed insanely hard on the surface. I bought one large towel for drying and an 8 pack of the smaller towels until I could reread the earlier post and get the best ones. In the meantime I plan on using very light pressure to obviate the possibility of scratches.
I used them for the first time last weekend and the drying towel worked great. Also, I've never had an unlimited supply of cleaning towels before and having 8 avaiable to do the door jambs and around the window edges, front grill and wipers was heaven : )
