    hi,

still looking for tripod & head unit?

your best bet is get Manfrotto either aluminum or coated stainless steel. [brushed or black] they are a little bit heavy but they can sustain over 10LBS+ of camera equipment and heavy abuse. i use a Manfrotto by Bogen it's the 3021PRO version in which it has rapid deployment and break-downs and it's maximum height level is 6'+ feet. head unit i use the dedicated Manfrotto 3029. dedicated means it has never failed as it can be used in all types of weather without fail. i don't suggest in using ball unit heads due to the locking index screw that locks the ball in place strips due to allot of usage and most ball units cannot sustain heavy lens.

    hoped that helped,
    sleeper
